Today we finished the work list for Jamaica. We need to tune the tension on the sail battens a bit and make the boat ready for sea, which we will doover the next couple of days. We’re not in a hurry because the weather is currently not in our favor, with high winds and high seas from the direction that we need to go... like usual. The seas have built up very high for this time of the year... up to 14 feet high where we were just a week ago when they were 6 feet high. These seas need days to come down again even after the winds have calmed. We can see them breaking on the reefs and rocks in front of the bay we’re anchored in and it looks impressive.
We have a lot of tools to put away, some cleaning up to do and will probably have time for some extra little projects from further down the list.
